Member's Code of Ethics

의원윤리강령

  1. 01.

    We, the representatives of the resident, shall widen the knowledge and personality and cultivate the ability to faithfully represent the intention of the resident.

  2. 02.

    We, the public servant, shall achieve the balanced development and well-established welfare system and make the public interest over the private interest.

  3. 03.

    We, the man in public life, hall publicly and privately live a life of integrity and frugality.

  4. 04.

    We, the member of the council, shall observe the laws and orders, secure the equal opportunities among the members and establish the sound local government culture to solve issues through discussion and agreement.

  5. 05.

    We, the responsible representative of the resident, shall be responsible for all public and private affairs for residents.

윤리실천규범

  1. 01.

    We should not harm the elegance as a member with regard to the duties.

  2. 02.

    We have the obligation of integrity with regard to the duties, and should not do behaviors that are doubtable with respect to fairness.

  3. 03.

    We should not exercise any illegal influence nor take any illegal remuneration caused by the illegal influence by misusing the position

  4. 04.

    We should not have any right, interest or position on properties or solicit for others' interest for the contract or disposition of self-government or public office with business by misusing the position.

  5. 05.

    We should not take remuneration of which value exceeds a general and common standard from an individual, a body or an organ, with regard to a lecture, a publication, or the like.

  6. 06.

    If we have direct concern in the agenda submitted for consideration or the agenda of administrative supervision and inspection, we should previously certify the concern and should not participate the related affairs.

  7. 07.

    We should register and state the properties according to the Official Ethics Law.

  8. 08.

    When we operate in a foreign country due to the duties, we should faithfully report or state it, and should not stay nor operate in the foreign country for long terms without a valid reason.
